Welcome to the homepage of Olympic Yarn and Fiber. We are a 20-acre alpaca ranch located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. Our primary mission is to create beautiful yarns
from USA-grown natural fibers using eco-friendly manufacturing processes.

Welcome to the virtual home of Olympic Yarn and Fiber. We offer huacya and suri alpacas for sale and breeding, plus original knit patterns designed with lovely alpaca yarns from The Alpaca Yarn Co. Click here to visit our Alpaca Yarn Shop on Etsy.

Our mill is almost complete! In addition to processing our own huacaya and suri fleeces, we plan to offer custom carding, pin drafting, and spinning services for other fiber animal owners beginning in Spring 2013. Stay up to date by visiting our Facebook Page.

Are you wearing your values? Olympic Yarn and Fiber is working to contribute to a sustainable North American fiber industry with the goal of producing 100% U.S.-sourced natural fiber products.

The US Department of Labor
lists China, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Jordan, Argentina, and Brazil as alleged child and forced labor offenders in apparel manufacturing, while 17 total countries are alleged offenders for cotton production. Vote with your wallet.

The mountains pictured at the top of the page are part of the Olympic Mountain Range as viewed from Middle Satsop Road on the way to our ranch. Lynn snapped this photo on a clear day after a snow storm.

The alpacas pictured above are three of our girls: Cheyenne, Glimmer, and Fawn.
